Public GitHub issue forms are the fastest way to track a fix. A free GitHub account is enough.
Common setup questions
- Cloud AI needs your own API key. Add one in Settings → API Keys for Gemini, Claude, OpenAI, Mistral, Groq, or OpenRouter. Apple Intelligence (on-device) and Ollama (local) do not need a cloud key.
- No key yet? Start with a free one. Compare free LLM models and providers at free-llm-models.custats.info, and find free API tokens, trial credits, and provider offers at freetokens.custats.info. Choose an offer with API access for a provider MILO supports, sign up on the provider’s site, create the key in its dashboard, then add it in Settings → API Keys. Check the provider’s current limits and eligibility first — listings change and not every offer works with MILO or stays free.
- Siri: say “Hey Siri, ask MILO …” after enabling Siri for MILO in iOS Settings.
- AI Data Sharing: MILO asks before sending prompts to a cloud provider. Review or revoke this in Settings → AI Data Sharing.
- Web search is off by default. Turn it on in Settings → Tools only after you add a Brave, Tavily, or TinyFish key.
